Torah and New Testament Foundations-The False Messiah-Part 12

We have some very significant dates and events involving Yom Kippur between the years 6001 to 6008. The False Messiah will make a military treaty with Israel on Tishri 11, 6001. From that point it will be 2520 days until Yeshua arrives in Jerusalem on Yom Kippur, Tishri 10, year 6008. 1260 days from the beginning of the Birth-pains and this treaty on Tishri 11, the Abomination of Desolation is set up on Nisan 10, year 6004, and the False Messiah will sit in the Temple of God, declaring he is God. The Jewish people will flee into the wilderness and the Two Witnesses will be killed. They will rise again from the dead at noon on Passover, Nisan 14 (Rev 11.7-12).

Now let’s look at Yom Kippur, Tishri 10, a Yom Ha Din, year 6008 to tbe beginning of Sukkot, Tishri 15, year 6008 (a period of five days). The False Messiah and the False Prophet are judged and cast into the Lake of Fire. The unrighteous are gathered to Jerusalem and judged. They are slain in the Valley of Jehoshaphat, also called Tophet and the Valley of Hinnom (where the word Gehenna comes from=”Gei Hinnom or Valley of Hinnom). Their bodies will be food for the birds of the air and the beasts of the field in what is called the Feast of Leviathan. At Sukkot, 6008, the feast of Leviathan is completed in Tophet, at the base of Mount Moriah. This is seen as the most cursed place on earth. The Wedding Supper is celebrated by the righteous on the Temple Mount at the top of Mount Moriah, seen as the most blessed place on earth. This scenario is the basis for many parables, like Lazarus and the Rich Man in Luke 16.19-31. Remember, Leviathan, Tannin, Rahab and Yam are interchangeable terms.

Job 41.34 says that Leviathan is king over all the children of pride, and that is a good description of the False Messiah. Job 9.13 says the allies of the proud (Rahab) lie prostrate beneath him (God). Rahab is a word used for Egypt and pride. We know that Egypt is a picture of the kingdom of the False Messiah (Europe). Once you have the terms down, you will see the Lord’s plan in every book. Of course the adversary in all this is Ha Satan, and the False Messiah.

In Ezek 28.11-19 the Lord is using the King of Tyre in the Peshat (literal) level, but in the Sowd (Hidden) level it means Ha Satan, who will empower the False Messiah. You will notice that he had the seal of perfection and was perfect in beauty (v 12). He was an anointed cherub (an angel) until unrighteousness was found in him, which was pride. Remember, Leviathan is king over all the children of pride. The word “beauty” is mentioned again in v 17, and “trade” is mentioned in v 16, 18. What we have here is a profile of Ha Satan (see also Isa 14.12-13). He was a cherub, an angel, and music was associated with him. Several times it will say he was created. But, he was puffed up in pride, giving the idea he believed he was equal with God and creator. This is a lie, he is not these things and it is a deception. Ha Satan is the power behind the False Messiah and he (False Messiah) is going to be like him (Ha Satan). In these passages in Ezekiel and Isaiah we learn that Ha Satan (adversary) is no dummy. He is crafty and most cunning.

What Ha Satan is going to do is change what people expect in the coming Messiah, and this is a very important concept to keep in mind. He will transform the expectations of mankind about the Messiah and then craft the False Messiah according to what the people are expecting and desire. Then when the False Messiah shows up according to God’s plan, he will be what the people expect. In Job 41.7-34 the Lord is saying “Look how fierce and strong Leviathan is. Who can make war with him (Rev 13.4)?” God says “I can (Psa 74.13-14)!” Pride is a central factor of the False Messiah (Job 41.15, 34). The first sin was pride (Rahab).

There is so much on Leviathan in the Jewish writings, Tanak and the New Testament that you cannot include all of it in any teaching about the False Messiah. In Christianity, they do not teach this. Very early it became “Replacement Theology Christianity” and they said “We don’t need the Jewish understandings” so they redefined everything. What we are saying is Leviathan is all over the Scriptures. It may be under different terms, like Nachash (serpent), Rahab (pride/Egypt), Tannin (sea monster) and Yam (sea). Each passage will give us additional information about the False Messiah and his kingdom.

Did the Lord put all of this information in there for us to just skip over? No, he wants us to understand it, especially those who are living in the last days. What we are trying to do here is to wake people up about what is going to happen. We don’t consider ourselves a part of Replacement Theology Christianity. We are believers in the coming Messiah named Yeshua, trying to understand the Scriptures in the way they were understood when they were written in the First Century. Job 3.8 says, “Let those curse it who curse the day (Day of the Lord and its evil), who are prepared to rouse Leviathan (the climate for him will be ready in the people-John 5.43).” Psa 74.13-14 says that God divided the sea by his strength and he broke the heads (seven) of the sea monsters (his allies). He crushed the heads of Leviathan (Pharaoh/False Messiah) and gave him as food for the creatures of the wilderness (Feast of Leviathan). In Psa 104 26 it says that the ships move along in the sea, and Leviathan “sports” in it. Job 26.12-13 says that the Lord quieted the sea with his power and by his understanding he shattered Rahab. He cleared the heavens and his hand pierced the fleeing serpent (Leviathan). Yeshua calming the storm on the Sea of Galilee was telling us he has dominion over Leviathan and his domain.

There is a prayer at Shavuot called “Akdamut” (Artscroll Siddur, P 714-719). There is a whole book with a commentary on this prayer. We will look at this prayer, and starting in line 74 it says, “Our predetermined portions having been set aside with elevation. The sport with Leviathan and the ox of lofty mountains when they will interlock with one another and engage in combat, with his horns the Behemoth will gore with strength, the fish will leap to meet him with his fins with power. Their creator will approach them with his mighty sword. A banquet for the righteous will he prepare and feast. They will sit around tables of precious stones and gems, before them will be flowing rivers of balsam. They will delight and drink their fill from overflowing goblets of sweet wine that since creation was preserved in pressing tanks” and Akdamut goes on.

Let’s talk about the Behemoth. Job 40.15-24 talks about Behemoth, and in the Peshat (literal) level God is showing Job he can’t even control the lower animals (one on land called the Behemoth), so how can he question the Lord. However, in the Sowd (Hidden) level, Behemoth is a study of the False Prophet. It is also a picture of Assyria/Gog and Magog/Russia. Eschatologically, Behemoth is the False Prophet from the land (Rev 13.11), and Leviathan is the False Messiah from the sea (Rev 13.1) and a picture of Egypt/Europe eschatologically. They (the False Messiah and Gog) will battle each other (Europe and Russia) as we have seen in Isa 20.1-6. The oldest book in the Scriptures has much to say about the False Messiah, the False Prophet and the battles between Europe and Russia.

In Part 13, we will pick up here and “Remez” (hint) with some passages about the False Messiah. We will see that the Torah itself has much to say about the False Messiah, and knowing the terms we have gone over will help us in identifying these passages and seeing what is being communicated.
