Torah and New Testament Foundations-The False Messiah-Part 23

Some Jews today call the Germans “Amalekites.” The Book of Esther is full of encoded messages through what it called the Bible Codes. But, exploring this needs to be done by people who know what they are doing. We need to be very careful of them, but we believe in the Torah, or, Bible Codes. There are messages from the Lord encoded in the Hebrew script that are valid. There is a good book called “CompuTorah: Hidden Codes in the Torah” by Moshe Katz.

There is a string of verses that are very interesting. From Lev 25.47 to Lev 26.24, if you took all the spaces out and made a “block” you will have the word “Germany” in Hebrew at Equal Letter Spacing (ELS). In Lev 26.22 and in Lev 26.25, together, we have two words meaning “vengeance of the covenant” and it intersects the above code on Germany. In Lev 26.24, every eight letters spells “Amalekim.” It also intersects “Germany” and “vengeance of the covenant” in this “block.” So, we have, in encoded messages, something associating Germany, vengeance of the covenant and Amalekim together. So, we are going to look at some of the encoded messages in Esther.

In the book “CompuTorah” it has many more examples of Germany in the codes. It has a whole section on Esther and encoded messages. In the Book of Esther, we have a list of characters. The king Achasverosh is a picture of God, whose laws cannot be changed (8.8). Mordechai is a descendant of Shimei, a Benjaminite, related to King Saul and the family of Kish (Esther 2.5; 1 Sam 9.1). He is a picture of Yeshua. Haman is a descendant of Amalek, the perpetual enemy of Israel (Exo 17.8-12). Esther is a picture of the believer, the bride of Messiah. Vashti is a picture of the unbeliever, who refuses to come before the king.

Haman is one of the greatest pictures of the False Messiah we have because he has an unreasonable hatred of the Jews, and no doubt he knows the history going back to the time of Moses. He hates them all. Adolf Hitler is the ultimate picture of Haman, and Haman is the ultimate picture of the False Messiah.

In the Wikipedia article it says, “Samuel’s words to Agag: ‘As your sword bereaved women, so will your mother be bereaved among women (1 Sam 15.33)’ were quoted by Israeli President Itzak Ben-Zvi in his handwriting in a response to a telegram sent by Nazi war criminal Adolf Eichmann’s wife pleading for clemency after he was taken to Israel and sentenced to death.” There is a World War II memorial at the Hague to the Jews. It says, “Remember what Amalek has done to you…don’t forget (Deut 25.17-19).” By looking at Germany in World War II, we get a picture of Haman in the Book of Esther. We get that “spirit” that was there. It went beyond reason. We cannot explain antisemitism because it is a “spirit” that is not based in logic, there are no bounds to it. You cannot be antisemitic and a believer in the Lord at the same time. One will have to go. You can repent of it and it will be dealt with.

Continuing on in the Wkipedia article it says, “In the Tannaic Haggadah of the first century, Amalek stood for Rome, so does Edom (Esau), from whom Amalek descended (Gen 36).” Edom was seen as Rome and Christianity, and Edom was seen as Amalek. In Germany, the Holocaust started on “Kristalnacht” or the “Night of Broken Glass.” It began in Nuremberg. Julius Streicher (he will come up again later) was part of a newspaper called “Der Strumer.” It was used by the Nazi’s to propagate antisemitism throughout Germany. On the night of Kristalnacht, Streicher took ten Jews out and hung them. We are going to see how this act played out later. From that point, Germany will come up with “The Final Solution.”

The Nazi’s wanted to make a perfect Aryan race. In order to do this, they must destroy the Jews. Hitler wants to dominate the world, but he also wants to destroy the Jews. Which was his strongest desire? Hitler could not be stopped militarily at a certain point. He defeated France, the Netherlands, Poland and drove out the British from the continent of Europe at Dunkirk, France. Hitler couldn’t do anything wrong for awhile, but there came a point where he couldn’t do anything right. He got angry at Britain for accidentally leveling a German city, so, in the Battle of Britain, he changed tactics.

Instead of destroying the airfields where Britain’s aircraft were, he went after the cities. While the Allies concentrated on German air and military facilities, Hitler was going after the cities, a bad military move. Eventually, Germany began to run out of planes and they lost control of the air. Then they ran out of tanks and motorized vehicles. It got so bad at the end they were using carts.

Then Hitler decided to attack Russia, and now he had to fight on two fronts. That meant that Germany was caught in the Russian winter. But, if Hitler had taken certain actions, he would not have lost his entire army in the east. What actions? He had to make a choice. He had either send his trains to bring supplies and reinforcements to Russia, or use them to deport Hungarian Jews to the death camps. Hitler chose to use the trains to deport Hungarian and other Jews to the death camps, knowing he would probably lose the war by not supporting his troops on the eastern front in Russia. That is the spirit of Amalek and Haman. You can’t explain that. You can’t look into the head of Hitler and explain that. It would be like looking into the head of Satan. The lies in Germany did not start there, it has been there since the beginning (“the Jews have all the money”, “The Jews want to control the world”).

Where can you still hear the spirit of Amalek is in the pulpits and on television. Within Christianity, we have many different organizations that oppose Israel. How many companies are boycotted by so-called Christians. Look at some Christian websites. Hitler used the writings of Martin Luther to justify what he was doing. Gerhard Kittle, the author of “Kittel’s Theological Dictionary of the New Testament” is still being used by Christian ministers today, and it is still being offered. He was Hitler’s theologian! It is considered by many biblical scholars to be the best New Testament dictionary ever compiled. But, Kittel was a Nazi and tried for war crimes and found guilty. He went to prison. He participated in Nazi propaganda against the Jews. Now, do you think that the theology and beliefs of Kittel came through his translation of the Greek? What do you think? If a word had a favorable view of Jews, and then there was a less than favorable view of the the Jews, which definition would Kittel use? He was never going to paint the Jews in the New Testament in a favorable light if he could help it. Is it any wonder that Christians cannot free themselves and ever hope to break away from antisemitism and antinomianism? This spirit of Amalek is still among us today and we need to stand against it.

In Part 24, we are gong to look into the Book of Esther and Haman. All of this will be linked together with what we have learned in our study of Amalek. The major key in understanding the False Messiah will be the study of Amalek, personified by Haman. Before the Messiah comes, we will have the Birth-pains of the Messiah. God has signs to look for, and history has had many models of the False Messiah. These will give us a picture of the false Messiah and what he will look like when the birth-pains come. We have had personalities like Hitler and Napoleon to look at, plus many others.
